ANANDANANANDINI

OM SRI BALA TRIPURA SUNDARYE NAMAH
The mother goddess Ananadanandim 1
This eulogy named Ananadanandim is prayed with a view to eulogize my mother Visalakshi (the Hindu beloved Goddess) in the form of Devine mother. This naturally includes the latter form viz., the father also : Matha purva rupam (before praising the form of mother): pithothara rupam (later praising the form of father): The Tithiryopanishad( one of the Hindu teaching of life with sanity) also spells out separately and that too in the very beginning Mathru deveo Bhava(salutation to mother) although Pitro devo Bhava( salutation to father) includes in it, thus promulgating the greatest importance of the mother, representative of the Devine mother, amongst all sundry godheads. The grammatical rules of Panini “pramana rithya (on the name of rule) and pita mathra “ make the word Pita (father) includes Matha(mother) also, but the injunction “ Mathru Devo Bhava” in the Upanishad seems to point to us that these rules are to be followed in the cases other than those concerning the Divine Mother. A sanyasi(personified detachment) is saluted by everyone including his father but he himself is enjoined to bow to is Mother. This means that a mother like the Divine Mother is a bestowal of true wisdom even to sanyasi.
The Mother hood of a woman implies the begetting of an off spring. The offspring comes out of the conjugal relationship of a man and woman. Therefore, at the outset, the conjugal union of Siva and Paravati (which is actually a spiritual union) is being saluted as a symbol of parents of universe. The Kavikulaguru ( The first teacher and renowned writer) kalidas, in his first epic poem “Raghvasam” maintained that the verse, and the offspring hood as seen in the form of Universe – richly deserve our unconditional salutations. There the quartet of mother conjugal union and infant were extolled: Here, the trinity of conjugality, mother hood and off spring hood are saluted through which the implied fatherhood of Siva shines forth.
